Left Click once on (Start)
**Windows XP:**
**Left Click once on (Run)**

Windows 7 or Vista:
Left Click once on the empty box on the start menu

Type in (TASKMGR) and press (Enter)

Repeat above steps and get this one open too!

Type in (MSCONFIG) and press (Enter)

This is the BEST way to stop unwanted stuff from loading or running on a computer!

Download all 3 fixes Free Here!
Right Click on each name below and choose (Save AS)
Choose to save them on the (Desktop) then run each one
Choose (YES) to add the entries to the registry!
This enables each one!

Fix EXE LINKS For ALL PROGRAMS

In the Task Manager Window:
Choose the (Startip Tab) top right corner of the window
Look in the list for things that are odd Examples below:

a.exe
antivirus 2010
aol toolbar
av.exe
tjkalhogw198.exe
login.exe

or any name that is just a random name

(UNCHECK) any that are weird as these are bad ones!

If you have these below they are OK to keep!

aim
aol connectivity
aol tray
facebook
itunes
myspace messenger
pctools
synaptics pointing driver or mouse
trend mmicro
yahoo messenger

There will be a lot more programs installed than my list shows I am sure
If in doubt check your (start) menu for the names of real programs to be sure they belong!

Even check (Control Panel)
And see what is installed and the date they were put in
If they are dated the date of the problems remove them then!
This will help a lot on removal of bad programs!

Left Click on (Apply)
Left Click on (OK)

Close all other open windows before the last step!

Left Click on (restart NOW) on the Task manager window to save all changes!

After the restart just choose "not to show me this warning again"
As we will now be starting up in Selective mode which works fine for us!

The reason to have Taskmgr open is to be able to "End Precess tree" on any task that will not exit for us!
Chances are you will not need this one but if we did it is already open for us here.

If a program is not responding just use Taskmgr to close it:
Find the program in task manager
Right mouse click on the program name in task manager and choose (End Process tree)
This will completely exit the bad program for us and allow us to uninstall it!

If we end (EXPLORER.EXE) WE CLOSE OUR DESKTOP!!
Goto (File)
(New Task) on the menu of task manager top left side
Type in (explorer.exe) or (explorer) works too!
This does no harm just we have to use Task manager to open (EXPLORER.EXE) AGAIN!
Be sure to restart the computer after all changes are saved here!
