Welcome to Larry Ketih Plum's Health Updates:

I am a Male 37 years old,
Born Jan 4th 1974
I have come to the place in my life that requires a major health change!
I thought about all the ways to inform all of the people who know me?
I felt it is best to formally do it with a personal web site, which I own here!
I did not want to leave anyone out so felt an Email was not the best idea here.

This is going to be very hard to explain so below, I will do my best here.
Pretty Much Renal Kidney Failure

!!MAJOR UPDATE!!
I Started Kidney dialysis Finally on June 5th of 2010
I now had a long battle with high blood pressure (238/130)
This lasted nearly 3 months off and on
I finally ended up in the hospital yet again for the 3rd time
(Sept 3rd/Sept 19th) This one was (Sept 26th Mon through Oct 1st)


I will soon post a full writeup of my experience aS it was a very scary one!
below might offend some people but I do not mean to?

I ended up on a bi-pap machine the kind that helps push air into you via the mouth and nose mask
I was OK for about 20 minutes on it then it all went very bad for me!
My O2 level dropped down to near 38 and the chest pain was so severe
I felt I was no longer able to keep breathing on my own it was bad
The next step was to be sedated and get a breathing tube inserted
Which would allow the machine to completely completely control my breathing for me
I was given "Newbain/Morphine for pain" then sedated right after that
They took 1 pound of fluid out of the lungs!
Did 2 dialysis treatments one Mon took off nearly 3 pounds of fluid total
During all this I was out for 8 "Earth hours" yet was in Heaven at the time It was done!
I hope to soon get able to talk better as the throat still is very sore even now
I am going to make a real time "movie" so I can explain the whole experience soon
I had been baptised a few years back and when I had the bi-pap machine on
I knew that was it it was very bad and truthfully wasn't sure if it was "the end or not?" I felt I wanted to call someone just before the tube was inserted
But knew it was not possible to be done at all?
Who would I call?/What would I tell them other than I am loosing the ability to breath on my own?
I decided I would ask a quick prayer instead, more fitting to the situation?
I asked what I did wrong, and please show me what I need to do?
Please take the pain away and help me recover without any complications due to lack of O2
I was heard and was sent to Heaven for a short time after this
I WENT TO HEAVEN FOR ONE HOUR!
I GOT TO VISIT SOME PEOPLE WHO I KNEW HAD PASSED ON
It was very pretty and soothing while I was there
I felt no Pain at all!
I even had no Fistula in the left arm it was GONE!
I asked what happened to it, and was told I don't need that up here!
IT WAS AND STILL IS VERY HARD TO TALK ABOUT THIS EVEN NOW!

Before I was "sent back to earth" Kurt Cobain From Nirvana sang the song
"Jesus don't want me for a sunbeam" just before I came home to Earth again
I asked "am I staying"... he said "NO", "I am sending you home!"
I then seen darkness for about 30 seconds then found myself waking up back in the hospital!
I heard the nurse say "man he is strong", as I woke up and I tried to get up as I came to
My arms where strapped to my legs and I managed to get them around under the legs to push off the bed with
I wasn't fully aware what I was doing until they told me I had the tube in still?
At this time I still had a breathing tube in and was not able to talk or move much
I did get to write on a paper, I was in Heaven for the last hour
I also asked how long was I sedated for, they said 8 hours total
They finally listened to me and changed my blood pressure meds!
I just wish now they do listen from now on when I tell them I had fluid in the lungs!
This is the cause of the breathing failure I had!
The Acid Reflux can enter the lungs during sleep and build up there (mine did)
Even during my car wreck back in Dec of 2010 I rolled my Saturn on the drivers side!
Ran off the road and hit a tree due to not knowing the road I was on well?
THIS did NOT scare me NEARLY as much as the recent hospital stay did!
I truthfully hope I never have to do this again?


After the 6 days in the hospital I now have great blood pressures new meds work for now!
107/57 after my treatments both Mon/Weds, and 120/83 most the time otherwise
A very welcome change indeed from the very high ones I had
Throat is still sore and I have a cough but getting better and stronger over all now
I will try and keep this updated more often as I am Way behind for sure here!! More to come soon.....
